From April 24 to 26, 2025, Anuga Select China 2025 came to a successful close at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre (Futian). Anuga Select China 2025 was jointly organised by Koelnmesse (Beijing) Co., Ltd., China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products (CFNA) and the Shenzhen Retail Business Association and powered by the world's leading trade fair Anuga in Cologne, Germany. Covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, this year attracted 603 exhibitors and brands, and 31,428 visitors from 52 countries and regions, marking a 15% increase in total attendance and a significant 37% rise in international trade visitors compared to last year. SIGEP China 2025 and LogiMAT China 2025 took place concurrently.
Anuga Select China 2025 spotlighted specialities of over 40 companies from 20 countries represented by International Pavilions from Germany, Turkey, and Iran. While domestic high-quality food and beverage companies, represented by the China State Farm pavilion and Yihai Kerry, also presented their latest products, technologies, distinctive flavours, and innovations. New for 2025, Anuga FoodTec Showcase debuted as a dedicated zone for food packaging, technology, and services, powered by Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, Germany. In collaboration with LogiMAT China, it not only aligned with the industry's sustainable development goals, but also delivered cutting-edge solutions to the market, paving the way for future-oriented advancements in the sector.

Four thematic forums were held during the expo: the 2nd Fermented Food and Nutrition Health Forum, the 4th Global Food Retail Market Trends Forum & Channel Matchmaking, Forum on Food and Cold Chain Logistics Solutions (Co-organised with LogiMAT China), 2025 Greater Bay Area Selenium-rich Agricultural Product Brand Promotion Event. These forums gathered industry elites, experts, and leading enterprises to explore trending topics and cutting-edge trends in various segments, providing references and insights for the common development and breakthroughs of industries and enterprises.
Three wonderful activities took place during the three-day event. The “Foodie Space” collaborated with Meat & Livestock Australia to host “Aussie Beef Mates China Showcase Events - Shenzhen”. Renowned chefs K K. CHAN, Billy Yang and Bella Guo presented the authentic flavors of Australian beef through immersive cooking demonstrations. Inspired by China’s 24 solar terms, “Flavors of the Seasons, Quest for the Chefs - Solar Term Cuisine Award Selection and Competition” featured a distinguished panel of judges, including Anthony Dong, the chairman of Famous Chef Committee of Shenzhen Culinary Association. Top chefs from 24 star-rated hotels and premium dining establishments in the Greater Bay Area, including The St. Regis® Shenzhen Bao’an, Park Hyatt Shenzhen, The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen, Conrad, and Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen, were also invited to prepare distinctive solar term cuisine on site. “The Top Ten Trends of Global Food and Beverage in 2025” were released at “2025 Global Food and Beverage Trends Gathering”. Besides, forward-looking insights and authoritative data were shared, innovative products aligned with these trends were showcased and “Innova X ACH 2025 Food & Beverage Trend Innovation Pioneer Award” was presented.
Nearly 50 one-on-one business matchmaking sessions were also held, covering diverse traditional and emerging channels including Overseas Hosted Buyers Matchmaking, Community Group Matchmaking, E-commerce Platform Matchmaking, CIQA Matchmaking. These sessions provided rich cooperation opportunities for both suppliers and buyers, and successfully facilitated precise connections between the participating enterprises and potential buyers from Southeast Asia, domestic distributors, retailers, as well as those from the chain catering channels.
